Michael Daly — Founder¶

Michael Daly is a seasoned engineering leader with over two decades of experience building, scaling, and operating global technical teams. He has held senior engineering and management roles at companies including Cloudflare and Imperva, where he led the development of high-performing SRE, DevOps, and Network Reliability Engineering teams operating at global scale.

Throughout his career, Michael has developed a deep conviction that great operational teams are built through culture, clarity, and trust — not process overhead and micromanagement. He founded M5L Consulting to bring that philosophy directly to organisations navigating the challenges of rapid growth, technical complexity, and distributed team structures.
